X-Ray and HHXRF
HHXRF stands for Handheld X-Ray Fluorescence. HHXRF is a portable and handheld variant of X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry technology. It enables on-site elemental analysis of various materials with ease and convenience.
HHXRF devices are designed to be compact, lightweight, and battery-powered, allowing for mobility and easy handling. They are commonly used in industries such as mining, geology, environmental analysis, metal recycling, manufacturing, and archaeology.
The operation of HHXRF spectrometers follows the same principle as traditional XRF spectrometers. When the sample is exposed to high-energy X-rays emitted by the handheld device, the atoms in the sample become excited and emit characteristic fluorescent X-rays. These X-rays are detected and analyzed to determine the elemental composition of the sample.
